| An issue recently garnering attention involves the lack of safe pedestrian passageways. Area residents want and need the ability to safely walk or bike to work, shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and schools. Teenagers, the elderly, and those without a car for transportation are often forced to walk through high grass, construction, ditches or even on the road itself to reach their destinations. We hope, with assistance from grants, donations, and Harris County, to help facilitate the installation of sidewalks or trails on major roads. |
