    Sustainable Living in Houston's mission is to provide education and resources to those living in the Greater Houston area with limited
    or no knowledge about the environment and sustainable living.  Some of our focuses include recycling, alternative transportation,
    organic/local foods and childhood education.

Educating by staffing exhibits
on various initiatives.

Drop and Swap!   
Help plan, coordinate sponsors or host
on the day of this yearly recycling event.

Design
Help create booths, flyers, and anything
with a creative touch!

Erase the Mark
Coordinate “green” businesses,
develop directory, plan mixers

Monthly Volunteer activities
This includes clean-ups, research,
newsletter, etc

Membership
Help spread the word about SLH
in communities and with media

There is no charge for membership.
The board members of SLH have decided that
the need to promote community spirit and make
a difference in our environment is more
important than collecting membership fees.
