| FAQ's 1. How is SLH supported? We receive support from members and concerned people like you. At this time, this is our only means of support. 2. What will my donation support? Your donation will directly support a group committed to the improvement of our environment and education of local communities about sustainable living. We will purchase items such mowers, trimmers, flowers, shrubs, trash bags, trash grabbers, gloves, materials to build educational items for children, composters, plant borders, a trailer, etc. Very little of donated funds go to administrative costs. We have no paid personnel and no building to maintain. 3. Is my contribution tax-detuctible? YES!! A receipt is given with each donation for tax filing purposes. 4. Can I make a donation in honor or memory of someone? Yes, just let us know and we will honor them on our website. 5. Will SHL sell, rent or trade my information? Never and let us repeat more emphatically, NEVER! We just do not believe in this sort of practice. 6. Is my information safe if I donate through Paypal? Once you click on the Donate button, you are now in Paypal's website, please refer to their security page for further information. All information we receive through the mail is kept completely confidential. |
